The object of the Hampshire Buddhist Society is to make known the principles of Buddhism and to encourage the study and practice of those principles. We comprise both a Theravada and a Zen group.
In addition to their weekly zoom meetings, the Theravada group arranges an in person silent retreat in Romsey on the second Saturday of every month. Although our practice is Buddhist, we welcome participants from other traditions and spiritual backgrounds to join with us in silent practice.

​The Society does not charge for meetings and relies on donations to cover its costs. Donations are always welcome.
